I keep looking at this, trying to see how it would work for me. I've tried traveling using only iPad, phone and a device
to back-up the SD cards, and it doesn't work for me. We often travel for weeks at a time and several things I do are
either a pain or don't work at all on iOS. I'm so much happier with a real, Windoze computer along. As we are either in
our Turtle or flying and driving, it's no burden.
And I've finally, after 7+ years, upgraded my travel computer. I look forward to being able to really process images on
the road. :-)
All this would add for me to the WD 1TB drive I carry now is the ability to download images directly to it. But I value
having two back-up copies of image files, computer SSD and the external drive.
For someone traveling without computer, the WB MyCloud app does provide a nice way to see what's on it - if one shoots
JPEG + Raw.
