Hmm. It does look a bit like a watercolor...
Honestly, I thought I was starting to really like the 6D until I
compared pictures from 11 years ago with the E-1. Those sensors are in
different leagues. While the 6D pounds everything else into dirt at
higher ISO's, at anything under ISO it really stinks up the show. The
photographic test/comparison sites all show things at bog-standard, no
push/pull file-pounding. For the standardized tests, the 6D is golden.
But start to yank those sliders around in Lightroom and the images
just fall apart. I'm having to put a lot more effort into these files
to get the look I want than I should have.
But for MOST stuff, the 6D is quite stellar. It really is.
