The majority of the activity around my location today was provided by
some busy bees. A rare Honey Bee, now beginning to show up more
frequently, favors the Goldenrod.

Most of the Bumble Bees have been replaced locally by Carpenter Bees,
who, in spite of their frequent damage to vulnerable woodwork, are great
pollinators. This one was wrapped around a small cluster on the
Buddleia bush.
