Wayne, I have seen a phenomena that might possibly lead to that. With
one of my cameras, not sure whether it was Fuji or Olympus, I have seen,
on at least two occasions, where the images on the card are separated
into two folders. It occurs when the exposure counter crosses a primary
number, such as xx1000. When this occurs, I have to treat each folder
as a separate upload and deletion.
If you failed to note this, as I did on one occasion, some of the images
can remain on the card.

I took a few shots with my OM-D E-M5 this afternoon and then uploaded them
to my Win 7 PC using the standard Windows program. As the images were
loading I noticed a large number of images from June appearing, looks like a
contiguous block of about 80 images followed directly by the recent images.
I normally upload with the "delete" after upload option. Has anyone else
seen this behavior ? Any ideas why this might have occurred ? I assumed
that there was some sort of corruption in the SD card file structure so
formatted the card (in camera) and now the behavior is back to normal.
