Oh, forgot to thank you for that interesting story with Ctein and the prints.
Not sure I would have predicted that result. It is sadly true about Photoacute
not being supported for over a year. If one has gear that is supported and
works well, it can be a real bonus. I know of no other commercially available
3rd party super res software with such modules.

<Yes, the colors are more accurate, but for most photography, absent the
original subject and lighting at hand, that doesn't matter. Where there is a
big difference is in fine repeating patterns, where the E-M5 II does not have
the moire problems of cameras with very high <resolution sensors. The
comparisons in the IR reviews and addenda make that clear. But I might take a
handful of shots where that would make a difference in a year. And, of course,
it does bright dark blues against black-ish background much better.
I was also thinking the HR mode would allow for more cropping as well--just
like a larger higher res sensor. Also have run into color accuracy issues with
true purple/violet and skin tones in the same image. DXO raw converter with
my Canyon gear seems to do better as does Portra film, and perhaps HR mode
would excel in that situation. The eye is very sensitive to skin tone errors
of course. Marnie has such a jacket and run into this a few times a year---not
a simple task for me to fix in post.
Color me purple, Mike
