Hmm,
Somewhat surprised the 28mm didn't behave just a bit better. Exit pupil
distance to sensor may affect this. Sensor stack in 6D is 2mm but not sure
about "optical thickness." See Roger's article-- "Sensor Stack Thickness: When
Does It Matter?"
Summary article below which you probably already read too , but just in case.

Wide Zuiko's on A7RII reported behave much better than A7r, but still have
modest issues--subtle though. Kolari mod on A7RII is as good as it gets but
than to to have custom profile for native lenses as color is mucked up some.
Besides that, the native lenses to behave well with very minimal degradation of
resolution but modifying an expensive cam like that gives me pause. Ironically
OMZ wide's may behave very nicely on aps-c Nex with Speedbooster as the optic
corrects for sensor stack thickness. Oh, some have used Cornerfix with very
good results to make things easier--even fixed some color smearing with RF
lenses in earlier days. Perhaps you might like that solution. RF lenses are
always the most problematic of course.
