Yes, a series of mini continents docking and piling up against the NA continent. Leaves a jumbled mess. The Olympics
are the youngest.
Looks like you flew over the Alpine Lakes NE of Seattle Moose.
Couldn't prove it by me. :-) NE of Seattle is right, but there are a lot of mountains and lakes, and I am not familiar
with them. I know there was one beautiful looking lake way up there that I thought it would be nice to helicopter to.
Then after the skeeters get through, they could haul out our carcasses. ;-)
