Processed and scanned through generic means. Sure. Why not?
I want to cry foul. He shoots a roll of B&W and has it processed and
scanned through an entirely unoptimized approach, but passes the Sony
image through an optimized approach.
That said...
I've learned a new way of scanning B&W negs in the past month that has
made a tremendous difference in the results. It actually makes scanned
35mm B&W film almost bearable.
But his thoughts about a chemical print vs the Sony file? Not even
close, buddy. Not even close.
