It's a solution that I could see being useful for mountain biking in
technical whoop-de-do terrain where you've got short and steep
downhill and uphill sections. In those cases, you're constantly
changing gears as you zip down the hill and then back up the hill.
But the problem there is that I've had too many missed shifts and
slipped gears from untimely gear changes. I should have equipped all
of my bicycles with Nard Guards.
