The user's manual and some research may be in order. PCMatic is largely
dependent on "application whitelisting" to protect XP since there is
little or no difference between operating systems when the protection is
preventing everything from running except what has been "whitelisted".
The problem is that whitelisting is not without its own set of problems
(particularly in large organizations) and you should understand what's
required of the user for maintenance of the whitelist.

mentions other companies who support some form of whitelisting.
