The top of the article says the trip takes 8-1/2 days. Further down,
it says the route is 13,310 miles. To do that in 8-1/2 days, you'd need
to drive nonstop at a constant 65 MPH. No time to take pictures of the
buildings!
Not quite as extreme, but on my first time in the UK, I went into an AA
(Automobile Association) office in London, opening up a map and asking
for advice on a three day car rental. I wanted to go to Stonehenge,
Stratford upon Avon, Cambridge, and Oxford. My first question was "Is
it doable?" With a perfectly straight face, the advisor said "Yes, it
is possible. The next question is whether you want to see anything
along the way."
