I had kept my search for the +0.5 limited to Hoya and Tiffen, so I did not
see the Hasselblad items.
Some time ago I bought one of those inexpensive 5=piece extension tube
sets. I never used it as the flanges did not fit tightly enough to suit me.
But, if I just screw together the two flange pieces I end up with an extension
tube that is less than 10mm long. This might be a practical alternative.
And yes, I do have a set of reversal rings. I found that method to be
severe overkill for my needs, which usually entails the need for a full frame
photo of a small flower.
I might have a copy of Shaw's book. I'll have to look later.
