I don't see Verizon in the list. Does this mean they have no exceptions?
Probably, Verizon is one of the good ones...at least around here.
Unfortunately it doesn't matter. When you call 911 the nearest/strongest
tower picks up no matter the carrier. Fortunately T-Mobile has such
crappy service you aren't likely to ping one of theirs unless you're on
an interstate or in a big urban area. They cherry-pick. Even then you
are getting triangulation which is much less accurate than the phone GPS
and a few minutes might be the difference.
Bottom line is that the carriers should provide coordinates from both
triangulation and GPS no matter what the signal strength. i.e. add
another larger probability circle. The FCC tends to kiss corporate ass
though.
