If Fuji's "very specific" glue was any good it shouldn't have needed a
re-stick job. Any reasonable repair would first clean off the old glue
with a solvent. That should clean off your repair glue as well.

After a lengthy vacation over in Nathan-land and adjoining places the
rubberized covering on my X-T1 body is showing signs of wear.
In particular, the covering just to the right of the "Disp / Back"
button at the bottom right of the rear of the body lost its glue and now
flips up. A tiny dab of contact cement glue worked for about a week.
On checking with a Fuji dealer here at home I was told that Fuji's glue
is very specific and that my DIY would likely void any warranty for a
Fuji re-stick job.
Has anyone had a similar experience and can recommend a solution other
than snipping the flappy piece off or sending the body back to Fuji for
a re-stick job?
