I agree about the simplicity, and I also like the way it fits my hands.
In my case, I was using a rugged, manual Leica lens and zone focusing.
Then, all I had to worry about was timing the action, and keeping the
fence wire out of the field of view.

churches. So, my daughter took the E-3 and covered one, and I had the
E-1 and covered the other. I didn't want to use the L1 because of the
noise factor. The E-1 is as stealthy of a camera that ever was.
Anyhoo, the pleasure of using a camera that just doesn't get in your
way is incredible. Like an OM film camera, you just set the controls
and shoot. No millions of modes and settings to choose from. Just set
it and go. The camera is very powerful in its simplicity.
And considering that the output for everything was webpage usage, the
5MP sensor is 4X as good as is necessary.
