Thanks for the comments, Moose.
I find that, in these parts, people seem to be vigilant and concerned
about people snapping photos. I had my aircraft/police scanner on while
working at my desk last week, and heard a unit being dispatched to check
on a guy taking pictures from his car. That is why I use the phone for
my occasional shot while in commercial establishments. I can do that
fairly inconspicuously. Cameras are welcomed at the airport and places
of that sort.

I don't want to put a menu item, the ingredients to which cost $1 or
less, into my body.

I have never taken a liking to McD's.
I think some part of you shows a great deal of smarts. :-)
I have never eaten McD's. My sons both went through Happy Meal phases,
which I accommodated, but I got my food elsewhere. Fortunately, for
all those years, there was an excellent independent fish 'n chips
place almost next door to the downtown McD's. Run by a Yorkshire woman
and her 'Murkin husband. They used flown in Icelandic cod and made the
best spicy cole slaw. He was a fanatic about the oil, never
overheating, always straining, never overusing.
Tiny hole in the wall, with an overall beat up, slightly oily
ambiance, fabulous food. Nearby was a nice, clean, shiny H. Salt Esq.,
with really mediocre food. The Salty one went out of business before
the local couple sold out to a Japanese man. But he didn't maintain
the quality, and eventually went under too.

Nice and clear. Looks good. A lot of white balance issues the camera
handled pretty well.
Yup
McDonald's. A lot of seniors eat at the local McD, as well as every
other
McD I've been in at mealtimes. They can eat cheap and sit as long as
they
like. I can't quite decide if this is a good thing or a sad thing.
Good if they are actually hanging with friends. Bad in that they are
filling up bodies already damaged by eating trash with more of it.
The place I hang out with all my old fart buddies is slightly more
expensive
than McD, but the quality of food is orders of magnitude superior.
Wiser old farts!
