That is a poignant shot, Mike. I think that I might have seen it before but it
is lovely.
You have seen many a similar scene from me but not this one, I took it yesterday :) It's only a few miles away and we
walk there 2-3 times a week. Too many photos. Never gets old.
I hope Gus-Gus understands what a beautiful and serene world he rules.
I doubt it. I think dogs view the world differently. But for chance she might
have ended up in an apartment in a city....
Just what I was thinking, Mike. I don't imagine that Gus-Gus has a conception of his life as any better or worse than
Nathan's apartment Cheeta, with a far less wild outside world. Nor do I imagine he would be able conceive of that other
life, to make a comparison. :-)
Both get lots of quality time with loving owners and families.
I used to have a next door neighbor who started working as an animal psychic. She could work at a distance, too. But she
was doing well enough at it to quit the job as a lead OR nurse that was ruining her health and moved to Davis, where
there was more, better paying, large animal work, and I've lost touch.
(Yup, Berkeley, woo-woo. But hey, she started making a good living at it, including work for zoos and animal parks,
including at least one Orca I knew of.)
