I'm sorry, but I find this to be highly entertaining. All of these
engineers and doctors on this list and we don't know how a cement
mixer works?

Drat, slept through the cement mixer lecture in medical school. Fortunately I
am getting up to speed on the list. Phew.
Actually the mixer just after the animated image in Moose's link, is quite
photogenic.
