True...
But the interesting thing is that it isn't far off from the truth. The
head of the Iowa Democratic Party is a HUGE Hillary supporter and has
been making no bones about manipulating the outcome here at every
chance. I'm a delegate to the county convention and we're already had
date and time changed with no notification twice. There are several
campaign staffers that had to stay here in Iowa and are working full
time just to keep up with the daily "adjustments". You'd think this
was the Communist Party.
Also, not too far off from the truth, on caucus night, the Cruz
campaign people where telling everybody at the caucuses that Carson
was pulling out.
So, The Onion's story made us laugh here in Iowa because it was about
the only thing that didn't happen. And the level of scorched-earth
rhetoric from her campaign was the verbal equivalent to the story.
So, round barns? Cornering voters? That was definitely good for a chuckle.
