Check ahead of visiting for the evening light shows. Some days of the
week the lights are left off. We visited on a Friday 18 Sept and those
shots of mine were taken between 8:00pm and 8:50pm.

For as many times as I've been to Niagara Falls (my son lives close-by)
I can't recall ever having seen it at night. Probably a product of
viewing the falls in the summer (late sunset) along with a family with
young children. Those grandchildren aren't so young anymore. I'll have
to rectify the lack of night viewing on the next trip.

Confession, apropos Reuters' new "no RAW" policy: The last image
required about one stop of lightening (dodging) to the fountain in RAW
to make it look as it had to my eyes, which could clearly see both the
actual fountain and its image on the iPad screen. I hope that wasn't
dishonest or inauthentic. :-) Editing a JPG the same way was
impossible--I ended up with really ugly color noise. I guess I'm fired
from Reuters, which is OK, since I've never worked for them.
Olympus E-M5 and 25/1.4 Leica Summilux, last one with the 20/1.7
