I just downloaded the latest version of FastStone (v5.5) and tried to
change the time stamp by +1 hour of an ORF and its related JPEG. The
ORF didn't change at all but the JPEG was bumped by 2 hours instead
of one. I then tried to fix the JPEG by applying -1 hour and that
worked as expected. I tried several other JPEGS with +1 hour but it
always adds 2 hours. I then tried adding +2 hours and the result is
always +3 hours. Correcting with negative numbers works.
There's clearly a bug in the program that adds 1 to whatever positive
number you apply. What I don't know is if this bug is new in 5.5 or
goes further back.
Definitely something "whack" going on, which I noticed when I
corrected time zone for a bunch of East coast pix. Windoze Explorer
shows a date/time an hour different than the top part of the info
window of FS. I wouldn't ordinarily notice, as I would look only at
the EXIF date/time.
