Thanks for the suggestion Mike. Only 2 of these are possible... under
the baseboard or up to the attic, over and back down. The baseboard may
be the easiest solution. It's thick enough that one could rout a 1/4"
wide/deep channel to run the wire. I just measured and see that the
monaural audio cable only looks to be about 4mm thick. Even a 3/16"
rout should be ample. Thanks again. That may be my solution.

I'm going to have to move my 10" subwoofer from the front of the room

Through the wall would be my very last choice. Even compromised wireless
is better.
a) crawl space? piece-o-cake. (I dropped a conduit from my stereo
cabinet into the crawl space :) )
2) carpet? easy. Just tuck under the baseboard.
iii) wood/vinyl/tile floor? harder. remove baseboard and/or transition
and replace. touch up paint.
IV) no crawl space underneath? Run up through stud bay to attic and down
another.
last) outside wall? drill through, run wire, back in. Seal hole, paint
wire.
