This is an area where I am fairly ignorant, and the paperwork with my
Dell order is not as specific as in earlier years.
I appear to have an i5-4440, and Intel HD Integrated Graphics. So, I
guess, off the top of my head, I miss-stated the hardware. It
definitely is not an Adapter, so I can see why the installation of the
update failed.

Maybe I'm lucky it didn't install. My son says it won't install
because Dell used a slightly non-standard adapter, and the update
only works for the standard adapter. Just my 2 cents.
Unless you have a separate graphics card, the Intel Graphics is not an
adapter, but is part on the CPU chip. For my purposes, the GPU in my
i7 CPU is quite sufficient. PS can use it for part of its rendering.
