Thanks for this, Ian.
I have uninstalled and the Win10 Upgrade System Tray icon has gone.
One slight error in the instructions: Search for just the ID tag fails; the entire name you have in quotes needs to be
entered in the search box.
Howsomeever, the update will then show up as an "Important Update" in Windows Update. If Update is set automatic, it
will reinstall. Otherwise, it will always be there, waiting to be installed with the next batch of updates.
UNLESS, one selects it, right clicks and chooses to Hide it.

Here's how to get rid of it.
1. Go to Control Panel > Programs > Programs and Features > Installed Updates
2. Put KB3035583 into the search box in the upper right of the dialog as shown
below,
press ENTER to search for it
3. Click on the "update for Microsoft Windows (KB3035583)" to highlight it,
then click
"Uninstall"
4. Unfortunately, you'll have to Restart your computer.
You can always upgrade it later, when a few more of the
bugs have been removed.
Me ?
I dont use Windows so it doesnt bother me :)
Cheers
