Only if they are in the same directory/folder. Not when one is at the top level and other(s) are in subfolders. Their
support info is specific on this point.
I worked at this a bit, and did some research. I may have missed something, but
I did try.

As above, I do believe it was necessary.
A payback is a reduction of image storage space. A downside is that FastStone, which really is faster as a viewer than
LR, doesn't show geocoding in ORF and RW2 files.
