This is highly OT, but in general I think that the EU institutions, and
especially the EU Parliement, are much more transparent than most national
parliaments. You can follow all proceedings via live streaming, almost all
working papers are public, and I can assure you that the dealings with
lobbyists are much more out in the open than in any individual nation
state.
