No, the firewall was already set and I’m happy with it. I should have been
very surprised to find it not so; the device cost me a pretty penny, but I
couldn’t stand the unreliability of the BT Homehub any longer. Together with
the revision of the Mac’s networking protocol and my new gateway, I think that
I might have a pretty reliable LAN at home.
