Thank you. Yes, you called it. A wee bit of Lightroom shenanigans.
What's interesting is that the image file is 10 years old. Who would
have thought that the E-1 files would have lasted that long before
deteriorating into a pile of bits on the bottom of the hard drive.
Earlier versions of Lightroom/ACR just didn't do very well on Olympus
files. But since the 2012 ACR upgrade, there has been a marked
improvement and then the 2014 and 2015 versions of Lightroom are even
better for Olympus files.
