I was shopping at Wal-Mart once and spotted a beat-up Dodge truck with a
typically jingoistic window sticker about God, Guns, and 'Murican cars.
I was debating about leaving a note under his windshield wiper letting him
know that his truck was made by a company owned by Germans, out of parts
that were, in a large percentage, sourced from offshore vendors. I'm
thinking the logic would have been lost on him.
It's pretty much impossible today to buy something that's 100%
American-made. There are going to be some parts that were made elsewhere
and shipped over here.
