Yes and no. Scotland has a number of tree farms growing mostly evergreens, but
they also are attempting to return more natural woodlands to the landscape. I
don’t believe the Salen wood pictured here was timbered any time in the recent
past. (UK standards of recent: several hundreds of years. I could be wrong.)
