Hi, Paul,
Usually, in cooler weather, they don one of the many coverall-type jump
suits on the rack in the hangar. In these tandem jumps, the instructor
normally lands sliding on his butt in the grass, and she will
essentially be in his lap, so, I suppose, she is in little danger of
getting scratched up. Maybe they didn't have a suit to fit her. :-)

I took an exercise walk at the airport today, and was able to catch a few

another mission.

Then, I found a friendly young lady who was about to make her first tandem
skydiving jump. She agreed to let me take her picture.

I watched as the instructor donned his parachute in the area where the
chutes are repacked after each jump.

And then, I watched as the pilot and passengers boarded the Cessna Caravan
jump aircraft.
