Damn, I live right near Pease (it¹s de-commissioned now, except for ANG
refueling wing), it would have been superb to see an SR-71 come in here.
Every few years we have airshows and have had some cool stuff show up
(B1-b, B2, B52, etc.) but they all happened after the SR-71 was retired,
sadly. SR-71 = still the coolest plane ever.
