I had that lens for a while and sold it here but I don't remember if
the LH-70C fits, sorry.
OTT, this was a great lens, a bit slow to A/F on the L1 but very sharp
when you nailed it :-)

Yesterday I purchased a used 50-200mm f2.8-3.5 non-SWD lens in
excellent
shape, but did not have the lens hood. Previous owner lost it.
Anyways, I
wish to buy the LH-70C (this is for the SWD lens version) lens hood
with the
opening for adjusting a polarizer. The correct lens hood for my
lens is the
LH-70B, but does not have the opening. I called Olympus support and
spoke
to a representative that I have spoken to before and I did not fully
trust
her advice the last time I called. This time she said that the
LH-70C does
not work after leaving the phone for about 5 seconds to research.
She may
be right or may be wrong, thought I would get a 2nd opinion.
I figure I could ask in this forum if anyone has had firsthand
experience
with this situation before I purchase a new lenshood. Thanks for
your help.
