While out on my daily cycling route this morning, I happened to notice a
news helicopter hovering nearby. It didn't take long to find out why. There
had been a shooting at the high school that I go past (Corona del Sol). There
was just one victim: the suspect shot himself. There were students, parents,
cops, and news reporters everywhere.
One of the seniors is a member of our bike collective. We found that he
has returned home and is okay, though I'll be he's a bit shaken up.
