We stayed in a Casa Particular - a private home like a B&B but more in with
the whole family. It was very interesting. They were wonderful cooks -
totally different from the rest of Cuba - lots of spices and a variety of
foods. We had a private air-conditioned room with a private bath and patio
and it cost $39 a night, including wonderful breakfasts!
