Back-in-the-day, the simple solution was to remove the rotor from the
distributor, stick rotor in pocket, replace cap.
Worked all over Europe, as well as in Chicago, in the 50's.
Later I had a piece of merde MG sedan (hydro suspension) that I would leave
on the street with key in ignition... No one would steal the damn thing!
