The exception was my wedding to Carol. I set the 60D with 10-22 up on a tripod, so I could take shots with the remote
control. The remote worked when tested, but not when needed, lens blocking the IR port, I think. I let myself be hurried
into letting it go. So the few shots of the actual ceremony are iffy phone shots.
Didn't detract from the actual experience; doesn't affect the quality of the marriage, but I wouldn't mind having the
missed shots. :-)
We thought at first it would be only us two and the officiant, out there in the woods; ended up as six of us, including
a beautiful Irish tenor voice and accomplished flautist, so we had unanticipated music. But I was the only photographer.
Shouldda set up the radio remote on the camera ahead of time ...
