Nice. I've had friends in the past with pet gators (they were
herpetologists and knew what they were doing). And we've got several
turtles - ours aren't skittish since they've known us since hatching, but
you're right - wild ones have unreal senses and will usually jump in the
water when you're 13 miles away...
