I have a photographer friend here who is primarily a wedding photographer.
A couple of years back, he decided to go all OM-D and hasn't regretted the
decision (he did buy a N*kon DF for those few times when he needs a really
low-light, FF body, but 98% of the time he shoots with the EM-1).
As a working pro, he can also justify the bag full of the m.Z Pro lenses,
including that spiffy new 40-150/2.8.
Although that's not in my budget any time in the forseeable future,
nevertheless if I have a change to actually play with one, I'm going to
take it.
So last week we sat down over coffee beverages at Starbucks and talked
cameras and music. He brought his E-M1 and the SuperLens, I brought my bag
with the E-M5. I hung the SuperLens on my body - that thing is truly a
beast. Feels like it weighs as much as the body, grip, and battery hunk
together. It's nice and crisp. Odd thing - the MF/AF switch is the focusing
ring out front - if you accidentally grab it wrong and pull it back, it
goes into one mode or the other. Very disconcerting if you don't know that
and can't figure out why a $1500 lens won't AF on your body.
Small gear pron still life (the unmounted lenses are mine):

Enjoy. C&C always welcomed.
