Just checked.
Oly Viewer (the very latest one, just released yesterday), retained
pinkish skin tones a little better in the mids and highs, but the
shadows went gray. The E-1 files maintain even coloring across the
brightness range, the E-3 files shift coloring in the shadows.
This confirms one thing I saw all along. It's better to shoot the E-1
right on exposure or even slightly under exposure and pull it up than
to overexpose and get the Kodachrome nasties in the highlights. The
E-3 seems more even in the highlights, but is definitely not nearly as
friendly for pulling exposures up in post. (kinda like Canon files in
that regard).
I absolutely punished these files in Lightroom to see just how far I
could push them and it is very impressive.
