I read in the Washington Post this morning that Pete Carroll said they didn’t
have the proper people on the fiend for a running play. The Pos also noted that
Lynch had five attempts at TDs this season from around the one, and only scored
once. It should also be noted that on a number of earlier plays in the game,
the Pats slammed him for no gain. His gainers, however, got all the attention.
Still, history will view it as a bad call because history, in sports, is mostly
written by idiots. <g>
