Single AF on EM-1 with a native MFT lens uses only CDAF, AFAIK.
Continuous AF on EM-1--nobody has been quite sure but a few interviews
with Oly
revealed it is a mix of PDAF and CDAF with native MFT lenses. Hit rate
seems very slightly better than EM-5. As frame rate is also higher
for EM-1--probably significantly more frames in focus. Curiously for
video the EM-1 with MFT lenses use only CDAF and FT lenses seem to be
only manual focus. The PDAF pixels unlike Canyon have full time AF
duty and can not be used for image info so the data is interpolated
form surrounding pixels. Unclear what EM-5 MkII will do in this area.
Rumors say no 4K video for "sure" though.
