Writing my user report on the VF-3, I realized something. The 'leaked' shot of the back may not be right - there's no
special VF/flash/mics AP2 connector under the flash shoe. I know the E-M10 does without one, and slips a tiny flash in
front of the shoe.
If the M5II has the same flash, and follows the lead of the M1, with a separate mic jack, the AP2 connector becomes
redundant, so maybe it's gone. The macro light is pretty silly, and may be replicated for far less money with a shoe
mounted equivalent, and the Pen Bluetooth adapter isn't needed by a camera with WiFi.
They can make the profiles of the OMDs better without it ...
