The FP-1 requires a 3 pin cable for the shutter release
button, as far as I'm aware the sockets only found on the
4/3's E-1, E-3 and E-5.

I use mine with the E-1 only, I use a FL-50 on my
E-450 hotshoe or a FL-36 on the E-M5 hotshoe.
