Thanks for the kind words. I think this lens will pair nicely with the
9-18. Too bad they aren't weather sealed. The 12-50 may still go with me
into the mountains.

I don't think you would actually. A little small and no windows... A
fixer-upper. :)

A few of the other lighthouses do have an adjacent caretaker's house.
They are all automated so no one is needed to trim the wick. They even
removed the diaphone a few years back :( Most have been turned over to
State Parks. The one near us is occupied by the park ranger.
