Another grandchild story: At my brother's wake last Thursday evening,
his very pregnant (and only) daughter Anne said, "It's going to be soon."
An hour after she had returned home, "soon" started happening, fast, and
baby boy was delivered at home with the help of Anne's mom, her
mother-in-law, and her husband. At 1:50 next afternoon, Anne, her husband,
their three other youngsters, and spankin' new young 'un walked into the
church for her dad's 2 PM funeral service. Pretty fitting send-off for her
dad, I'd say. I was touched.
