I retired from full-time membership of the RAF this year, but I still instruct
part-time – about once a week. And today I again had the pleasure of sending a
student on her first solo. I always have my camera with me and I took a couple
of her on her return from her 2-circuit trip (it should have been one circuit,
but she judged her first approach to be too high and went around).
She got a friend to take a photo of her with me; I do so like this job :-)
