I went too fast down a relatively shallow grade when I hit some waves in the
path and the harmonics disconcerted my coordination abilities. I remember
heading towards the bush and rocks lining the track. I don't remember braking.
I remember looking directly down to my handlebars. Then a blank. Then I
remember sitting in the aforementioned rocks and bushes with no breath and my
eyes set to about +3 exposure compensation. It was a long walk to the road, but
my audience of one (Peter) rode the 6km back to Thredbo to get the car. I had a
decent time to contemplate the stupid, then & over the next few weeks
recovering.
Good times.
Cheers,
