At least one pro flash shooter I used to follow always recommended using
normal auto mode over TTL at 6 feet and under because (he said) the auto
mode was more accurate at those distances. Of course, he only used
Nikon and Canon gear and probably never tested or used a T-32. But I
believe the T-32's auto mode is pretty good... especially when
supplemented with chimping and adjustment on a digital camera. :-)
