Hi Brian,
These buildings, from the outside, tend to be either very imposing and
beautiful, or somewhat ordinary. The building, wherein meet the two
Lodges that I belong to, was built in the early 1970's and is very much
the latter. Some of the older Masonic buildings in SA are simply
gorgeous - as is the Grand Lodge of SA & NT building in Adelaide (built
in 1934 IIRC).
In between the two extremes is a fairly plain construction, with a
facade with some interest, like this one - sometimes the features of
the facade have some relevance to the order. I would love to see a more
front-on view of this one (if you have one to hand).
